Poland’s private consumption faltered in the third quarter, raising doubts over future economic growth and strengthening the case for quicker interest rate cuts.
The country’s economic growth was confirmed at 2.7%, but private consumption rose just 0.3% year on year, compared to 4.6% in the previous quarter, according to data released by the Polish statistics office on Thursday.
