Rolls-Royce CEO Defends Call to Drop Electric Aviation Program

Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc’s chief executive officer defended his decision to exit the flying taxi business, saying higher costs for the electric aircraft dented prospects and regulatory challenges had slowed their rollout.

“What I’ve seen is that the market is getting pushed to the right all the time,” Tufan Erginbilgic said Wednesday at an event in London.
