Kongsberg CEO Weighs Digital Unit Exit as Defense Demand Grows
Norway’s Kongsberg Gruppen ASA is looking to exit its unprofitable digital unit, in a move that would give the Norwegian manufacturer a sharper focus on the fast-growing defense industry.
The company said it has hired JP Morgan Chase as a financial adviser and aims to get clarity by the fall whether to offload the asset, Chief Executive Officer Geir Haoy said in an interview in Oslo on Wednesday.
