US-EU Tariff Deal to Help European Hiring Recover, SThree Says

The trade deal between the US and the European Union will help spur hiring momentum in 2026, helping the beleaguered recruitment industry exit an extended slowdown, SThree Plc said.

“The confidence level will come back more toward next year,” Chief Executive Officer Timo Lehne said in an interview Tuesday. “Hopefully we see some small positive improvement in the second half of this year and then build on top of that.”
