Paraguay Central Bank Keeps Rate at 6% on Tame Inflation Outlook

Paraguay’s central bank kept its benchmark interest unchanged at 6%, saying it expects inflation will stay within its target range the rest of this year.

The central bank has kept borrowing costs steady since early 2024 as it targets 3.5% inflation with a tolerance of plus or minus two percentage points. The decision was widely expected in the central bank’s monthly survey of analysts.
