ECB’s Kocher Advocates Caution Ahead of Next Decision

Austria’s new European Central Bank Governing Council member Martin Kocher advocated for a cautious approach heading into the next decision over interest rates.

“There are differing opinions on the current interest rate level,” Kocher told APA newswire in an interview. “But some members of the Council have advocated this caution in the coming weeks, and I certainly share that view.”
